A welcome message that only says hello measurably does nothing. One that produces a first
action — pick a role, introduce yourself, read one specific channel — is the difference
between a member and a lurker.

DM welcomes have a hard constraint worth knowing: a member who has DMs closed will never see
one, and the bot cannot tell in advance.

**Vetox** includes welcomes with image cards on the free Starter tier.
