Ephemeral Message
A reply visible only to the member who triggered it. Ephemeral responses are not stored in channel history, cannot be linked, and disappear when the client reloads.
Ephemeral replies are how bots confirm an action without adding noise to a channel. They cannot be edited by another user, reacted to, or retrieved later, which makes them unsuitable for anything a moderator may need to reference — a moderation case needs a real log entry.
