Conventions
Every entry states its source and the date it was checked against the platform. These are the conventions each one follows.
- CV-001Keys are permanent
- A catalogue key identifies an entry for as long as it exists. Keys are never reassigned and never renumbered when entries are added, because a key is a citation and a citation that moves is worthless.
- CV-002Every entry is dated
- Platform limits and API behaviour change without announcement. Each entry carries the date it was last checked against the live platform, rather than implying it is current forever.
- CV-003Specifications come from the platform
- Numbers are read from official documentation or observed directly. Where a limit is undocumented and was determined by observation, the entry says so — an observed limit and a documented one are not the same claim.
- CV-004Unknowns are stated
- Where a value could not be established, the entry records that rather than omitting the row. A gap that is marked is useful; a gap that is hidden is misleading.
- CV-005Corrections are made in place
- Errors are fixed in the entry and the checked date is updated. Corrections from tool authors are welcome and receive the same verification as any other source.
Entries are written in-house with AI assistance in drafting, then checked against the platform or the tool. No invented author names, no fictional credentials.
