Webhook
A URL that accepts a POST and posts the result as a message in one specific channel. Webhooks need no bot token and no gateway connection, and can set a per-message name and avatar.
Webhooks are the simplest integration route on Discord: anything that can make an HTTP request can post to a channel. They cannot read messages, respond to interactions, or act on members — they only write, and only to the channel they were created in.
Anyone holding a webhook URL can post to that channel, so the URL is a credential and should be treated as one.
